You know about love languages, right?
Words, touch, gifts, time, and acts of service.
But did you know your love language can affect your blood pressure and your heart?
Let me explain.
The 5 Love Languages and Your Body
1. Words of Affirmation:
You feel loved when someone says "I appreciate you." When you don't hear it, you feel small. Stress goes up. BP goes up.
2. Physical Touch:
A hug, holding hands. Touch brings down cortisol fast. People who get enough touch have lower BP.
3. Receiving Gifts:
Not about money. It's about "He thought of me." When you never feel thought of, you feel lonely. Lonely people sleep less.
4. Quality Time:
No phone, just you two. Couples who don't spend time together fight more at night. That means high BP in the morning.
5. Acts of Service :
This is when someone helps you. Cooks, helps with kids, fixes something, brings water without you asking.
Why is this the healthiest?
Because acts of service reduce your mental load. And mental load is what is killing busy women.
Why Acts of Service People Live Longer?
I read a study. People who felt supported with small daily help had:
- Lower cortisol
- Better sleep
- Lower blood pressure
- They lived 3-5 years longer
It's not romantic. But it is real love.
When your partner helps you without you begging, your body feels safe.
Many women don't have high BP because of salt. They have it because they do everything alone.
Check Yourself
Ask:
- What is my love language?
- Is my partner speaking it?
- If your language is Acts of Service, and you are doing everything alone, your body will be tired. Always.
Conclusion
Love is not just feeling. Love is how your body feels every day.
If your body feels tired, maybe you are not receiving love in your language.
